Happy Mother's day to all!
Us horses aren't really into Mother's day as we don't stay with our mum's for long. We thought we'd do a special post to show the small number of special mums we have had at Marros Riding Centre.
Prepare to go n'aaaaawwwwwww!
This is Mommy Solo and Baby Misty born April 2003. Solo no longer lives at Marros Riding Centre but Misty is still here after 11 years.
Mommy PJ and Baby Poppy born 21st April 2004. PJ was a livery horse and no longer lives at Marros. Poppy has also got another home.
Mommy Rosie and Baby Kimi born in June 2007. The two leggers say Kimi was the only planned foal - whatever that means! Both Rosie and Kimi still live at Marros Riding Centre and are in the same field.

The next is mommy Missy and Baby Celyn born in 2011. They both still live at Marros and despite being split up for a number of months - they still have a strong bond when reunited.
Here is Penny babysitting! She was adoptive grandma to all previous foals! We had to say goodbye to Penny recently - she was getting very old and started to slow down lots. We all miss her very much!

Of course we can't leave out or two leggers - Here is Hazel with her two foals Becki and Lotti
Here they are enjoying a girls woods trek - Tarnie at the front, Ember in the middle and Max at the back :)
